Semi retired lawyer and former celebrity tennis pro offers private lessons on your home court! At 16 (my first paid job) I taught President Carter's daughter Amy at Billie Jean King's Camp using Secret Service agents as ball boys! I also personally taught former Chief Justice William Rehnquist at the exclusive Washington Golf and Country Club where I served as resident pro and also later worked under the legendary Tony Trabert the summer after law School in Ojai, California. There I taught both Petra and Marlon Brando, the latter having been the first person to prophetically call me Ernie the Attorney... Finally, to wind up my tennis CV, I am also a graduate of Van der Meer TennisUniversity and long time member of the National Professional Tennis Registry (NPTR). My rate is only $40 per hour for both private and semi-private lessons. There is no charge for traveling time!) Kiawah's standard Roy Barth rate is $90 per hour!) My Summer and Fall hours of availability are between 3:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and basically anytime Saturdays and Sundays.
