Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Class Basic Life Support training reinforces healthcare professionals' understanding of the importance of early CPR and defibrillation, basic steps of performing “high quality” CPR, individually, and in a team rescue, relieving choking, and using an AED; and the role of each link in the Chain of Survival. You will be practicing skills that require working on your hands and knees, bending, standing, and lifting. If you have physical conditions that might prevent you from participating in the course, please contact one of the instructors when you arrive for the course.
