THE TRYST INTERVIEW

My Greatest Turn On:
Intelligence and Cleverness. I love big brains, deep thoughts and clever ideas.
My Favourite Guilty Pleasure:
Playing poker or blackjack in a casino midweek in the afternoon. It's like skipping school to do something naughty.
If They Made a Movie Based on My Life, the Movie Star Who Should Play Me Is:
Angelina Jolie. We have a lot in common and I've had a few people over the years say I seem like I could be her younger sister.
My Favourite Food and Drink:
I am a total gourmand and bacchanalian spirit at heart. I love most food except fried food and hot dogs. But my comfort meal is enchiladas with rice and beans. My favourite drink, not surprisingly, is margaritas (or summer water as I like to call it). Or champagne on ice. I drink a lot of champagne (regardless of colour) on ice. [Cue Eagles song]
These Are a Few of My Favourite Things:
Sailing & Water Sports, Outdoor Adventures, Hopping Planes like Ubers, Foreign Culture, Global Economics & Policy, Ancient Civilizations, Architecture, Astronomy, Quantum Physics, Bio/Astro/Military Tech, AI/VR/AR, Old Music (Acid Jazz, Cuban Big Band, French 60s Pop, etc.), Gardening, Cooking, Playing Cards, and most things that are considered taboo.
A Famous Person I Would Like to Meet (Dead, Alive or Fictional):
Oscar Wilde for sure. Even though he wasn't a huge fan of the women of his time, I'm sure we would have got on like two peas in a pod based on his quotes and reputation. Not to mention, I love a debaucherous raconteur.
Behind that, I would have to say "The Doctor" from the long running TV Series "Doctor Who". Tennant or Capaldi...before you ask who's my Doctor. But if he wasn't available, I would love a wild weekend with his wife, River Song. I have a feeling she knows how to throw my kind of girls getaway.
Something People Don't Know About Me:
I tear up at anything real having to do with outer space or the galaxies. I know, it's weird. But it's not sad tears. It's just an overwhelming sense of awe.
One Thing My Friends Would Say to Describe Me:
Jack of All Trades, Master of None. I know a little bit about a lot of things.
What I'm Watching Right Now:
I just finished watching the 2021 movie "Belfast" and was overwhelmingly impressed and beyond moved by its story and the way it was told. Last movie I watched before that was Simon's Baker's "Breath" based on the Tim Winton novel. Equally epic in story and film. Mostly though I blow through TV series. I love PBS Masterpiece. It's 75% of what I watch. Outside of that? Big fan of sci-fi, dystopian near future, and historical fiction. Also pretty much anything by Neil Gaimen, Steven Moffat, Christopher Nolan or Steven Knight. Always, and on repeat lol.
What are you listening to right now?
I'm not listening to it but Saltburn's famous ending song "Murder on the Dancefloor" has been stuck in my head forever now. It's beyond catchy. But when I go home and throw something on lately it's been either Reggae, Classical Music,
or Hindu Indian Chanting. I know, it's all over the place. But that's my rhythm lately :)
We'll get along if you:
Are turned on by intelligent women, enjoy a good conversation, appreciate a little banter, and aren't particularly prudish or uptight towards life.
My Ideal First Date:
It may sound strange, but I love the feeling of running into an old boyfriend from highschool or college I haven't seen in decades. There's an implied familiarity even though you are complete strangers now that I find very stimulating. I try to recreate that feeling on every first date I go on for both parties. I'm just an old girlfriend from back in the day that you're catching up with over drinks and some sweet nothings. It's nice.
I'm weirdly attracted to:
Men who say "yes Ma'am". Perhaps it's the southern girl in me, but I find it both charming and slightly kinky in certain contexts to hear a man say, "yes Ma'am".
