Qigong for controlling breath This class will serve as an introduction into the practice of Qigong. The Qigongs being taught are designed to help with heart maintenance as exercise and controlling breathing. Traditional Chinese medicine has for centuries understood that your quality of life could be improved by maintaining a series of exercises that have a direct effect on health. These exercises are made up of simple movements when accompanied by controlled breathing and concentration can help to maintain your health level. In this 10-week class we will cover easy to perform moves to match and control your breath. Learn the 4 types of breathing, and when to use them, for energy or relaxation.
