I am you! Are you between 35 and 90? As we are mature, our main health challenge is to: Manage blood sugar (insulin resistance), belly fat (metabolic syndrome), and weight gain. Regain lost muscle and strength. Strength training and muscle are VITAL for us as we age. Increase cardiovascular health and conditioning. Have good posture and bone strength. Maintain good nutritional habits that include less sugar, processed carbohydrates, unhealthy fats and oils, and include more fiber, lean protein and healthy fats. Focus on 'health span' as well as life span. Living longer but often sick is not fun or desirable. Maintain good balance and flexibility. Maintain good health. Consider the possibilities!
