Hi, my name is Karen and I have been a caregiver for over 20 years. My clients include Dementia/Alzheimer's, Elderly, Down Syndrome, Special Needs, Schizophrenia, cerebral palsy, Aspergers, and Developmental Disabilities. My most recent job was an Adult Family Home for 15 years. My job duties were cooking, cleaning, bathing, medication management, laundry, shopping, doctors' appointments, scheduling rides with paratransit, training new employees and taking care of all other needs of the home. It was my goal to make our home a homely environment.
