Hello my name is Janette. I provide relief to Primary Caregivers allowing them to take some time away from their senior care duties without worry. When I was a full time Caregiver sometimes I needed respite support and I could not find it quickly, affordably or for the short amount of time I needed. Sometimes you just want to make a call and get quick relief for a few hours. This is what I do. Being a full time Caregiver is difficult and can be mentally and physically challenging not to mention isolating. Having trustworthy backup you can count on makes all the difference. I provide the following services: $25 per hour (except overnight): Assistance with all activities of daily living Overnight stays (please ask for pricing and qualification) Conversation, games and movies, general companionship Food preparation Accompanying to family events. A little about myself: I am British. English to be exact. I have been in and out of the USA for two decades. I consider myself a born carer and helper. I thrive on it. My career was in the financial industry however in 2010 I started my own business and worked as a caregiver to supplement my income. I loved it. I worked under Home Instead Senior Care in Charlotte NC and with Sunshine Care Ltd in Plymouth, England. In 2018 while with Sunshine Care I deepened my knowledge on Senior Care with eLFY online study courses through Access Learning. I completed the following certifications while working full time as a live in senior caregiver in England.
